Hello. I have a cat that is 13 years old and has slowly been losing weight over the past few months. We took him to the vet for an exam less than a week ago, and the vet said he had a fever and dehydration and that they would run some tests and keep him for observation. The fever and dehydration were treated and the vet said my cat had developed some sort of infection or inflammation. However, all vital organ functions were normal, and there were no signs of diabetes, hyperthyroidism or similar
