WAKAYAMA (Kyodo) Wakayama Electric Railway Co. on Wednesday unveiled a newly renovated Kishi Station, which is well-known for Tama, its calico “stationmaster.” The feline, named stationmaster in 2007 of the Kishigawa Line station in Kinokawa, Wakayama Prefecture, was present at the ceremony celebrating completion of the new building, which bears the name Tama Museum Kishi Station.
