BRICK The battle between Jersey Shore Animal Center and Pets Alive over five kittens and their mother cat, all which tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), seems to have come to an end. The shelter is turning the animals over to a local animal shelter that can care for them, said Jean Donoghue-Simon, a Toms River attorney and member of the board at Jersey Shore Animal Center.
